The Habitat for Humanity, Thousand Islands, ReStore sells both new and gently used home improvement materials that have been donated. Inventory includes kitchen and bath cabinets, sinks, toilets, lighting, doors, windows, carpets, tile, tools and more. Since we receive new donations every day, there is never a set inventory -- It's a whole new store with each donation! For the do-it-yourselfer, contractor, collector the ReStore is the first place to visit for inexpensive renovations. The best thing you can do is to stop by and see for yourself all that we offer. You may get an idea of the types of items we carry by looking at the DONATIONS section. You never know what you will find at the ReStore. The proceeds generated by the ReStore sales go to support Habitat for Humanity, Thousand Islands primary objective of building affordable, energy efficient houses for deserving families, while reducing the amount of used materials that are headed for overflowing landfills.
What you can expect to find: You can expect things like: windows, doors, hardware, lumber, tools, lighting fixtures and even the kitchen sink! Items are donated daily so each trip will bring you something new!
Donations are accepted at the ReStore, 3037 County Road 29, Maggio Plaza, the ReStore will be open from 9:00 to 5:00 on Thursday and Friday and 8:00 to 4:00 on Saturday. Drop offs of doinations can be made 9:00 to noon Tuesday through Saturday. Call 613-342-3521 to check quality, age and usability of your items. We are unable to haul away trash, and some donations may be declined because of safety concerns, facility limitations, or marketability. Items are selected based on our ability to sell them in the ReStore to fulfill our mission of raising funds to build more affordable homes in Brockville & Thousand Islands..
Contractors, bring us your excess or removed products. Save yourself a trip to the dump and your customers some money.
Retailers and manufacturers can donate end-of-line, scratch-and-dent, discontinued inventory and customer returns to us and avoid the cost of returning them to the manufacturer.
Donation Pick-ups
Wherever possible we encourage customers to bring items to the ReStore as part of their donation to Habitat for Humanity. However, in situations where this is not possible we are able to pick-up donations subject to prior approval. Please give us a quick call at 613-342-3521 to make arrangements.
How can I help the ReStore?
There are essentially three ways you can help the ReStore. First: make your home improvement purchases at the ReStore and tell your friends about us. Second: spread the word about our ReStore and help us receive donations of good quality saleable materials. Third: the Habitat ReStore is always looking for volunteers to help with stocking shelves, picking up donations, and general store upkeep.
