Your contribution as a volunteer is what enables Habitat for Humanity Thousand Islands to operate and fulfill its mission. Using volunteer labour and donations of money and materials, we build simple affordable homes, and sell them to partner families for no profit, with a no-interest mortgage.

How Your Faith Community Can Become Involved With Habitat for Humanity
One of the most appealing aspects of working with Habitat for Humanity is that building a house provides tangible opportunity to live out your faith.
Giving your time and talents makes faith come alive.
Strong feelings of community develop as people work together to plan and build a Habitat home; new friendships are created within the congregation and within the community.
When the house is finished volunteers and homeowners feel a great sense of pride and connection with one another.
Become a Habitat Champion inside your congregation to rally volunteers and initiate fundraising efforts.
